Caroline Walz is a Masters student in Sociology at the University of Barcelona. She is interested in sustainable development and the issues of sustainability in today’s society and in the way humans structure life. After graduating her A levels and training college for kindergarten teachers in 2011, she spent the following years travelling the world, getting to know new places and cultures, gathering work experience in different countries (South Africa, Philippines, Jamaica, Chile, Argentina, Spain, Germany, etc.), volunteering and practicing Spanish as a third language. She then moved to Innsbruck, Austria to study Nonprofit, Social and Health Care Management at the Management Center Innsbruck, in the framework of which she spent one semester in Montevideo, Uruguay and did a practical training with the Nonprofit Organization Malaria No More in Washington D.C.
