Amine Mqarta graduated from the University Mohamed V in Rabat, Morocco, where he specialized in biology, biodiversity and the environment. He dedicated himself to field work, studying medicinal plants in a forest near Rabat. After his graduation, he was very hesitant on what to do after, so he applied to a scholarship programme in the framework of a Convention between the University of Mohammed V and the University of Sassari. He is now attending the University of Sassari, in a master’s degree dedicated to management of the environment and territory. He loves animal protection.
